1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences. Cookies cannot execute programmes or deliver viruses.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies - These are essential for the website to function. They enable core features such as page navigation and the shopping form. They do not collect personal data for marketing and are always active.
Analytics Cookies - Set only with your consent. These help us understand how visitors use the site (e.g. which pages are visited most, how long sessions last). We use Google Analytics for this purpose.
Marketing Cookies - Set only with your consent. These are used by Google Ads to measure conversion events and, optionally, to show relevant adverts on other websites you visit (remarketing).
3. Third-Party Cookies - Detailed
Google Analytics sets the following cookies: _ga (distinguishes users, expires 2 years), _gid (distinguishes users, expires 24 hours), _gat (throttles request rate, expires 1 minute). These are set only after analytics consent is given.
Google Ads sets the following cookies: _gcl_au (stores and tracks conversions, expires 90 days), _gcl_aw (tracks click attribution). Google Ads also uses ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization signals, all of which are set to denied by default under our Consent Mode v2 implementation. They are only activated if you click "Accept All" or enable Marketing in cookie settings.
Google Maps - Our Contact page embeds a Google Maps iframe. Google may set cookies as part of that service, governed by Google's own cookie policy.
4. Managing Your Preferences
When you first visit this site, a cookie banner appears. You can choose to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customise your preferences using the "Cookie Settings" option. You can change your preferences at any time by re-opening the cookie settings panel (available in the website footer area). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
